This year, TowerXchange Africa’s interactive workshops are open to all attendees—not just sponsors! These focused, face-to-face sessions are your chance to dive deep into the industry’s most pressing challenges and opportunities alongside peers, partners, and thought leaders.

Spaces are limited and available by pre-sign on only, so don’t wait to secure your spot. Whether you're looking to exchange insights on operational efficiency, innovation, or investment strategy, the workshops offer a rare opportunity to get in the room with the people shaping the future of African towerco and infrastructure markets.

Don’t miss out—once they’re full, they’re full

Day 1, 11:25 – 12:30 | Workshop 1 | GSMA Energy workshop

In collaboration with GSMA Intelligence, TowerXchange unites the energy ecosystem around the cell tower to address the leading causes, challenges and solutions to accelerating efficient, resilient and reliable telecom tower energy management.

Day 1, 13:45 – 15:20 | Workshop 2 | Driving infrastructure growth through regulatory reform

Connecting Africa depends not just on innovation or investment, but on fostering the right regulatory frameworks. From national broadband strategies and rural licensing to streamlining permitting and infrastructure sharing, this workshop examines the strategic initiatives and policy tools to unlock wireless deployment across the continent. Also being addressed are the persistent regulatory bottlenecks and how governments can better align with industry objectives to drive public-private collaboration.

Day 1, 16:00 – 17:30 Workshop 3 | Aligning network innovation with infrastructure reality

Rapid evolution of active networks can often outpace readiness from the infrastructure layer. This workshop brings together towercos and MNOs to explore how both sides can better align network ambitions with infrastructure capabilities. From power and space constraints to rollout times and commercial model, we unpack the challenges and opportunities to accelerate deeper collaboration around the cell site.

Day 2, 09:30 – 11:00 Workshop 4 | Banking on rural: Who pays, who builds, who wins?

Rural connectivity is one of the most pressing challenges facing Africa’s digital infrastructure journey. This workshop brings together key stakeholders from across the last-mile ecosystem including investors, towercos, MNOs, governments and solution providers, to tackle the question of how to deliver last-mile connectivity in a collaborative, bankable way.

Day 2, 12:00 – 13:20 Workshop 5 | Fixed Wireless Access workshop

Following the morning’s opening Fixed Wireless Access panel, this workshop brings together the ecosystem to delve into the details around last-mile acceleration in Africa, and partnership opportunities between ISPs and towercos.

Day 2, 14:30 – 16:00: Workshop 6 | Building successful energy partnerships

As energy costs rise and sustainability pressures mount, energy management becomes an ever-increasing strategic priority for tower operators and mobile networks. For ESCOs, it presents a major opportunity but demands a deeper understanding of what infrastructure owners truly needs. This workshop brings together decision-makers from across the energy ecosystem to address how energy is being managed today, what drives the decision to outsource vs manage power internally, and expectations of energy partnership.
